This lamp is part of a series that I made for a craft store where I used to live. They have an old chicken coop packed with artifacts from the American southwest. (or that have that desert swing.) Though I have never seen that part of the country I wanted to place my pieces in a classy store with other quality items. It was just a matter of adopting the theme. I have taken inspiration from a book that my son has called the girl who loved horses.
